Esker Lake is a short 5 minute walk from our Carpenter Lake Outpost.

This beautiful lake is surrounded by white sand beaches and has great fishing.

Rocky shoals provide fabulous fishing spots for Lake Trout in spring and fall. Long channels and islands provide many areas to search out for that 45 - inch Northern Pike or that 35 lb Lake Trout.

Many miles of shoreline on this lake have never seen fishing action for years.

For the fly fisherman, this lake provides some prime areas to catch Lake Trout in early spring or late September.

For those who are looking for a beautiful beach for a swim you will not be disappointed.

Some guests consider Esker as their favorite lake.

Is it the great fishing or the shore lunch under the mature 40 foot Pine trees that brings them back?
